iBX, developed by KEF’s design and engineering team, is an Intelligent Bass Extension algorithm which creates an extended depth that unlocks the full potential of the custom driver to give you unparalleled precision and ultimate synchronicity between amplifier, driver and sealed cabinet. 

After analysing the input signal, the DSP employs KEF's iBX algorithm which enables the subwoofer to reproduce audio at louder listening levels while maintaining its dynamic quality.

Easy configuration

Kube subwoofers offer unmatched flexibility in configuration. With a range of LFE, line & speaker-level inputs, Phase selection and 3 DSP controlled EQ settings to help match your sub to any room placement, you’re in control right out of the box. The Kube can be matched to any core speaker, set up to your convenience, or with any music system so you can discover new levels in your sound.

Integration

KEF is quite possibly the only high-end manufacturer who designs, engineers and assembles the driver, cabinet and circuitry in-house. Installation

After identifying whether inputs are mono or stereo, KEF's SmartConnect technology smartly tweaks the volume of the subwoofer for optimal performance. Included are placement tuning presets for Freestanding, Wall/in-cabinet and Corner meaning the Kube sounds perfect wherever it’s installed.
