Liebherr SIGN3556 216 Litre Integrated In Column Freezer with Frost Free, 55.9cm Wide

The Liebherr SIGN3556 is a premium, integrated column freezer which offers plenty of space and great functionality in a stylish design. This appliance features a variety of different innovations to meet your freezer requirements.

Saving you time and effort, this freezer will automatically defrost itself with Liebherr’s NoFrost system. This intelligent technology ensures that your food is frozen with chilled recirculating air and any humidity is removed, meaning your freezer is always free of ice and there is guaranteed freshness for longer lasting food.

With the clever, automatic SuperFrost function freshly stored food can be frozen speedily. The temperature inside the freezer is reduced to -32°C, creating the cold air required to help food maintain it’s vitamins. Once the food is completely frozen, the automatic function will switch back to normal mode to help save electricity. This will happen after a maximum of 65 hours.

The advanced touchscreen controls with an LC display guarantee that the temperatures you select are persistently maintained. The digital display will accurately indicate the temperature to the nearest degree. All functions that are featured in the appliance can be selected easily and adjusted using the touchscreen interface. A door and temperature alarm will alert you to any irregularities in your freezer. The handy Door Alarm will audibly alert you if the appliance door has been left open for longer than 60 seconds. This is to protect your stored items. The temperature alarm will quickly notify you audibly and visually if there are any temperature issues, for example if there is a power failure.

The useful Child Lock feature is programmed to stop any accidental changes to the appliance settings. A symbol in the MagicEye will appear to alert you to when the Child Lock is switched on.

The reversible door on the appliance can be fitted to meet the layout of your kitchen and allow you easy access to your freezer. (The factory fitted door hinges on the right.)

Due to the appliance being integrated, the technology of the unit door must be observed in order to fit the appliance door and unit door together for it to function correctly. There are two different options for the door which are Door-on-Door system and Sliding door system. With the Door-on-Door system, the unit and appliance doors are firmly fixed to each other, as the unit door is directly attached to the appliance door. With the Sliding door system, the unit door is directly attached to the kitchen cabinet, and is connected to the appliance door through sliding rails. When opening and closing, the unit door slides along the rails.

Liebherr’s SoftSystem closing mechanism is a great feature in this appliance. When the freezer door is closed, the SoftSystem that is integrated into the door, softens the movement and closes the door gently, even when the door interior is fully loaded. On built-in devices, the door closes automatically from an opening angle of around 30°. This system is practical and comfortable for all users.

At Liebherr, taller appliance with a height of 140cm or more have two levelling bars on the left and right of the base. These bars make it possible to correctly level the appliance to enable the door to close properly, making sure the appliance operates as perfectly as it is designed to. 

The height adjustable feet enable the appliance to be aligned to be level on most surfaces.

There are two elegant supporting columns at the front and rear of the appliance on either side that allows flexibility for the glass drawers to be rearranged and adjusted. The inner liner has a very smooth surface, making it easy to clean.

This appliance features side wall heating which prevents condensation from forming between appliances and damaging any kitchen furniture. This feature is extremely energy efficient and makes use of the heat that is evaporated from the appliance.

This appliance features Liebherr’s surprisingly sized Ice Cube Tray which will provide the best quality ice cubes for you. The tray has a lid and a suitable filling opening for you to easily refill with water. The lid seals tightly to allow you to move the tray without any spills.

The 8 glass drawers in this freezer use Liebherr’s FrostSafe. The drawers are closed the whole way around to reduce the amount of cold air lost when the appliance door is opened. With the transparent front of the compartments, you are guaranteed the best overview of your frozen items. The drawers can be removed, offering Liebherr’s VarioSpace for practical storage solution.

The powerful LED interior lighting is positioned above the freezer drawers to fully illuminate the appliance for you to clearly see your stored essentials.
